The Evil Queen’s Jealousy

High in the tower, the queen did brood,
Her jealousy an endless feud.
She’d gaze into her magic mirror,
And ask the question, full of fear.

“Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Who’s the fairest of them all?”
The mirror spoke with voice so true,
“Snow White’s beauty outshines you.”

The queen’s heart, with envy burned,
Her wicked mind with plans turned.
She could not stand to be outdone,
By Snow White, the innocent one.

In her chamber, dark and cold,
She schemed with thoughts both cruel and bold.
A plan to rid her of the light,
That made her shadow ever slight.

But Snow White, in her simple grace,
Knew not of the darkened place.
She sang and danced through castle halls,
Unaware of the queen’s cruel calls.
