After Alice had returned to her normal size, she continued to explore the enchanting garden. She wandered through the lush greenery and vibrant flowers until she found herself at the edge of a beach. The soft sand stretched out before her, and the sound of gentle waves lapping at the shore filled the air.
As Alice walked along the beach, she noticed a group of animals gathered near the water. There was a dodo bird, a lory, an eaglet, and several other curious creatures. They seemed to be having a lively discussion about how to dry off after a recent swim. The dodo bird, who appeared to be leading the conversation, suggested they hold a caucus race to get dry.
Alice, intrigued by the unusual idea, approached the group and asked what a caucus race was. The dodo bird explained that it was a race where everyone ran in different directions and there was no clear winner or end point. The goal was simply to have fun and dry off in the process.
The dodo bird organized the race, drawing a large circle in the sand as the starting point. All the animals, including Alice, lined up and waited for the signal to start. With a flap of his wings, the dodo bird shouted, “Go!” and everyone began to run in different directions.
Alice laughed as she joined in, running around the beach with the animals. The scene was chaotic and joyful, with everyone running, hopping, and flapping in all directions. The sun shone brightly overhead, and the breeze from the sea helped dry them off as they ran.
