Snow White’s Sleep

The dwarfs returned to find her there,
Snow White, with skin so pale and fair.
They wept and mourned, their hearts so sore,
For she would wake nevermore.

They placed her in a crystal bed,
With flowers blooming ’round her head.
They watched over her day and night,
Hoping to see her eyes so bright.

Years passed by, the seasons changed,
Yet Snow White’s beauty remained unchanged.
The dwarfs kept vigil, ever true,
Their love for her only grew.

They prayed and hoped, with all their might,
That she would wake, and all be right.
Their hearts so pure, their love so deep,
They guarded Snow White in her sleep.
