Der geheime Garten des Flammenflügels

Once upon a time, in the land of Everglow, there lived a dragon named Flamewing. Unlike the fearsome dragons of old, Flamewing was a creature of peace and quiet. His name came from the fiery color of his wings that sparkled like the setting sun, but he had never once breathed fire in his life. Instead of guarding treasure or causing havoc, Flamewing spent his days tending to a secret garden hidden deep in the Whispering Woods.

Flamewing’s garden was not an ordinary one. It was a magical place filled with the rarest and most beautiful flowers that had ever existed. Golden roses, bluebells that chimed with the wind, and glowing lilies that lit up the night were just a few of the plants that bloomed there. But the most special thing about the garden was that it could only be found by those who were kind at heart.

One day, as Flamewing was gently watering his flowers with dew collected from the morning mist, he heard a soft cry coming from the edge of the woods. Curious, he flapped his great wings and flew silently toward the sound. There, beneath a large oak tree, sat a young boy with tears streaming down his face.

Flamewing landed quietly behind the boy and spoke in a gentle, rumbling voice. “Why are you crying, little one?”

The boy jumped at first but then looked up to see Flamewing’s kind eyes. “I… I’m lost,” the boy sniffled. “I was playing with my friends, but they ran off, and I can’t find my way home.”

Flamewing smiled softly. “You must be brave to wander this far into the Whispering Woods. Do not worry; I will help you. But first, would you like to see something special?”

The boy wiped his tears and nodded, curious about what the dragon could mean. Flamewing turned and spread his fiery wings wide. “Climb onto my back, and I’ll take you somewhere magical.”

The boy hesitated for only a moment before climbing onto Flamewing’s back, his tiny hands gripping the dragon’s scales. With a mighty leap, Flamewing soared into the air, and the trees of the Whispering Woods became a blur beneath them.

They flew for a short time until Flamewing gently descended into a hidden clearing, the heart of his secret garden. The boy gasped in awe. He had never seen anything like it before. Flowers of every color imaginable bloomed in perfect harmony, and the air was filled with the soft hum of magic.

Flamewing chuckled. “This is my secret garden. It’s a place where only those who are kind and pure of heart can enter. You see, little one, your heart led you here because you are special.”

The boy smiled shyly. “I’ve never seen anything so beautiful,” he whispered.

Flamewing lowered his head. “Would you like to know a secret? These flowers grow from kindness itself. Every kind word, every good deed, and every selfless act in the world helps my garden bloom.”

The boy’s eyes grew wide with wonder. “So… every time someone is kind, it helps your garden?”

Flamewing nodded. “That’s right. Kindness is a magic stronger than any flame. It doesn’t burn or destroy; it heals and brings life.”

The boy smiled, feeling a warmth in his heart he hadn’t felt before. “I want to help your garden grow. I want to be kind too.”

Flamewing’s eyes sparkled with pride. “You already have, little one. The moment you decided to be kind, my garden bloomed a little brighter.”

After spending some time exploring the magical garden, the boy climbed back onto Flamewing’s back. With a flap of his wings, the dragon carried him out of the Whispering Woods and back to the edge of his village.

As they landed, Flamewing lowered himself so the boy could climb off. “Remember, the secret to my garden lies in your heart. Be kind, and it will always grow.”

The boy nodded and waved as Flamewing took off into the sky, disappearing into the distance. From that day on, the boy made a promise to himself: he would always be kind, no matter what. And every time he did something good, he liked to imagine Flamewing’s garden blooming just a little bit brighter.

And so, in the heart of the Whispering Woods, Flamewing’s secret garden flourished, filled with the light of kindness, waiting for the next kind soul to find its way.
