Bori the Wild Dove’s Christmas

Once upon a time, at the edge of a snowy forest, there lived a small wild dove named Bori. While other birds flew south for the winter, Bori chose to stay behind. She loved the peacefulness of the snow-covered forest and the way it sparkled during the holiday season. But this year, as Christmas approached, Bori noticed something unusual—the forest seemed quieter than usual, and her animal friends looked worried.

One frosty morning, while perched on a snowy branch, Bori overheard the squirrels chattering below.

“It’s so cold, and we’re running out of nuts!” one squirrel complained.

Nearby, a group of rabbits huddled together, struggling to dig through the frozen ground for food.

Bori’s heart sank. “Christmas should be a time of joy,” she thought. “I must do something to help.”

Bori decided she would bring Christmas to the forest. She spread her wings and soared high above the treetops, searching for food that could feed her friends. For hours, she flew over the frozen landscape, scanning every corner for something useful. Finally, she reached a nearby village.

The villagers were busy preparing for Christmas, and their yards were filled with scraps—apple peels, bread crumbs, and seeds scattered on the ground. Bori’s eyes lit up.

“This will be perfect for my forest friends,” she thought.

Carefully, Bori collected as much as she could in her small beak. Trip after trip, she carried seeds, nuts, and fruits back to the forest. It wasn’t easy—her wings were tired, and the cold air bit at her feathers—but she didn’t give up.

As the sun began to set, Bori had gathered enough food to create small piles under a tall evergreen tree in the center of the forest.

When the animals noticed the piles of food, they were astonished.

“Bori, where did you find all this?” asked a curious rabbit, nibbling on a piece of carrot.

“The villagers had plenty to share,” Bori said with a smile. “Now, let’s celebrate Christmas together!”

The animals gathered around the tree, their hearts filled with gratitude. The squirrels danced, the owls hummed gentle melodies, and even the shy deer came out to join the celebration. Bori perched at the top of the tree, looking out over her friends as they laughed and feasted.

As the first star appeared in the night sky, the forest glowed with warmth and happiness. Snowflakes gently fell, and the animals realized that Christmas wasn’t about decorations or gifts—it was about kindness, sharing, and being together.

From that day on, the forest animals celebrated Christmas every year, remembering the little wild dove who brought them the true spirit of the season.
